Yoga Nidra Meditation

Yoga Nidra or ‘yogic sleep’ is a form of guided meditation mostly practiced lying down.

The practice allows you to turn inwards and have an awareness while moving between states of consciousness.

How can Yoga Nidra make a difference in your life?

When your body is relaxed on all three levels you are able to enter a state of deep relaxation.

It is claimed that 30 minutes of Yoga Nidra equates to 2 hours of sleep.

Contraindications

Yoga Nidra is not recommended for individuals who suffer from severe trauma, severe depression, claustrophobia, panic disorder, schizophrenia, epilepsy or serious medical conditions to due to the nature of the practice.
