Reconnect and Restore Your Wellbeing
An 8-Week Self-Paced Course to Reconnect to your Wellbeing
I used to carry other people's stress and worries and struggle to know how to let go of them.
I can remember going to workout classes gym that I loved. I felt in the moment during the class and a burst of energy straight after class.
However, a few hours later my mind would go back to worrying about the past and trying to predict the future.
I was giving my energy away and not prioritising my own mental health.
When I started learning more about mindfulness, in 2019, I was eager to bring the practices into my everyday life.
That meant I was able to let go of the worries I was carrying about the future and feel more present in my life.
I no longer felt stressed carrying my own worries and other people's and knew ways to manage stress during challenging times.
This helped increase my energy in a more sustainable way through bringing small mindful moments into my daily routines, even when I had a hectic schedule.
After discovering the benefits of mindfulness in my own life I decided to study to teach others to help make a difference to their health and wellbeing.
Think about or imagine…
Starting each day feeling calmer and at ease.
Responding to challenges that arise with calm, clarity and patience.
Having time to practise self-care and focus on taking care of you.
Connecting with your identity beyond your caring responsibilities.
That's why I designed an online course especially for parent carers who want to discover new ways to manage their own emotions and experience more calm moments.
To create a happier and healthier mind for yourself and for your family.
You're invited to join
The Mindful Reconnect for ASN Parents
Over 8 weeks, you’ll discover mindfulness techniques, practical strategies, and have the chance to join a private Telegram community.
The content included is based on my Burnout Prevention Method using my ARIA Framework.
This involves mindfulness based activities to help you increase your self-awareness, reflect on your thoughts and feelings to gain an insight on what patterns you have.
With the end goal to take mindful actions to support you to feel more present and grounded in your everyday life.
The Mindful Reconnect for ASN Parents can help you let go of unrealistic expectations of what you ‘should be’ doing and release the pressures you put on yourself.
By week 8, you'll be equipped with tools to increase your energy while feeling more present and grounded.
What Makes this Course Different?
As well as being a mindfulness coach and yoga teacher, I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Community Education.
That means I have worked with many people from different backgrounds, including:
Young carers
Black and minority ethnic communities
Children with additional support needs/SEN
Young offenders
Parents and carers
Homeless/risk of homelessness young people
Care experienced individuals
Older people
Suring my time working in the charity sector, for over 15 years, I saw the impact of stress and overwhelm that parents and carers faced.
Especially those who had caring responsibilities for a child(ren) with additional support needs.
I have combined my experience from the charity sector and my personal being in a neurodiverse family with my mindfulness and wellbeing teachings to create this unique course especially for you.
What Other's Say
“Listening to your voice is so soothing and made me feel relaxed right from the start.
Life can feel full on and tiring. It felt good to slow down and to think in the moment and let other thoughts and anxieties momentarily disappear.
I felt wonderfully calm, and relaxed.”
