Supporting Siblings in Neurodiverse Families: A 7-Day Mini-Course

Give your child the tools to thrive in a neurodiverse family.

You probably feel like you're constantly juggling your time and energy between supporting your neurodivergent child and trying to give their sibling just as much attention.

However, you'll know that this can be challenging.

Caring for your neurodivergent kid will use a lot more of your time and energy, which can leave their siblings feeling overlooked in your family dynamics.

I’m the eldest sibling with two neurodivergent sisters, so I've experienced the variety of emotions, highs and lows that come with being part of a neurodiverse family.

Plus, I have 15 years of experience working in the voluntary sector and hold a Postgraduate Degree in Community Education.

For 7 years, I worked specifically with primary aged children, up to S1 young people, supporting them with their social and emotional skills. Many of the children I worked with were neurodivergent.

As well as working with children, a lot were siblings in a neurodiverse family child, I supported parents and carers providing family support/learning.

That's why I decided to create a course specifically for siblings in neurodivergent families.

The activities in this course are based on my knowledge, skills and experience from community education, mindfulness and yoga.

And, of course, my personal experiences and insights.
